Economy Handy

Economy Handy is our new basic Rainwater Harvesting Range suitable for use around the garden and some external applications.

In this system rainwater from your roof area flows into the Heavy Duty Hdpe Above Ground tank via a specially designed 3p technik downpipe filter fitted to your chosen downpipe. The 3p technik filter takes out much of the silt, sand and leave’s that are suspended in the flow from the guttering system.

The collected rainwater in the tank can then be used for gardening watering, cleaning vehicles and general use.

All Handy systems come with a High Quality Forta Duo pump with filter attachment. This is connected externally for ease of access. By connecting the Forta Duo pump to the simple connection at the base of the tank, will allow the harvested rainwater to be utilised. The Forta Duo pump also comes with a secondary filter unit attached to the front which supports the supply of cleaner water. The Forta Duo pump also has an integral automatic run dry switch, which stops the pump from running if no water is in the Tank preventing pump burn out.

Although this is our base range the specification as all our systems it is very high. As we want to deliver to our clients only the very best of products.
The range features 350L, 700L, 1400L, 2000L, 3000L & 6000L models. All in one piece moulded tanks.

Economy Pro Range

Economy Pro is the next step up from Handy range and comes in underground version only.

The Economy Pro Range features a heavy duty stainless steel pump. The pump also features a run dry switch to stop pump burn out when the tank is empty or low.

As the Tank is located below the surface it needs to be connected to your underground drainage system. So instead of a downpipe filter as the above ground version the Pro has an integral filter fitted to the inlet.

It also features a trapped overflow system that will allow excess rainwater to bypass to the surface water drainage system. The inlet filter system will also overflow to the drainage system if the tank is full. This means that both filter and overflow outlets need to be connected into a local surface water manhole on your property, on new builds this will need to be installed with the system and can be provided by BHS at extra cost.

At the top of the tank the pump delivery hose can connect into either a surface box or a watering post which are easily installed. Both these can supplied at extra cost by BHS.

ECONOMY PRO Application

The collected rainwater in the both systems can then be used for gardening watering, cleaning vehicles and general use.
The Pro System specification makes it ideal for more robust applications and in certain commercial applications where harvested rainwater can be utilised.
Although this range cannot be used for internal domestic applications the filter specification is very high as all Rain2Drain Systems. As we want to deliver to our clients only the very best of products.
The Garden Pro range features 1400L, 2000L, 3000L , 6000L. All in one piece moulded tanks.
Tanks can be slaved together for greater volumes of storage.

Rain2Drain incorporating our ZF Filter

Our Rain2Drain ZF system of rainwater harvesting systems combine the highest quality British manufactured hdpe tank with the market leading fine mesh 3P filter technology. To ensure the highest quality stored rainwater.

Featuring in our ZF Rain2Drain range we have an internal fine leaf filter, combining ease of installation and maintenance. The system has a special overflow with a dual skimming head . The high quality stainless steel pump inside the unit connects to an internal wall mounted control system which can be upgraded to feature an a pressure vessel which will support the function of the pump. This system has the ability of filtering rainwater from a roof area of up to 200m2.

Each system being individually designed with the added advantage of increasing the reservoir capacity by slaving tanks together.

We offer 3 standard single tank systems 2000L,3000L& 6000L

Rain2Drain System with our VF filter.

Combining the same high quality throughout our VF System offers full rainwater harvesting and recycling for larger application. The VF external filter is installed upstream of the tank which can achieve filtration up to a roof area of 450 m2 offering the same efficiency.

Maintenance and accessibility is still straightforward through the access shaft.

As with the ZF system above, the VF system can be individually designed with the added advantage of increasing the reservoir capacity by slaving tanks together.

Providing a range of single tanks systems of 2000L,3000L& 6000L and larger capacities can be manufactured if required on application.
